While doing this shoot, I have to admit I was overcome with emotion. Jaxon was a big, happy-go-lucky dude, and although I only spent a limited amount of time with him, his sweet spirit shone so brightly! Unfortunately, at 12 years old, this wolfhound/lab/shepherd mix was diagnosed with cancer. When Kristine found out his time was limited, she reached out to schedule a session to celebrate his life before his health deteriorated. Unfortunately, it was only a couple of days later that his condition worsened and we needed to have an impromptu meet-up to capture some of his last moments.
Even though this session was difficult, it was also filled with so much love ❤️ It was an honour to be chosen to work with you Kristine, and I will cherish the short time I got to spend with Jaxon.
